about

In 2016, Strive Creative Coalition would get together with an artist, collaborate on writing a song and record it in a day. This song is about a friend of mine who wanted to move to Portland and how much I'd miss them.

lyrics

It's comin' on fast now
Like suddenly waking up from a dream
You've been talkin' about it for a while now
I think that it's just what you need
The streets are beggin' you back
To walk between the sun and the moon
You've got a plan of attack, they will welcome you soon

I'm coping, I'm hoping that you'll change your mind
I'm coping, I'm hoping that you'll change your mind

Scenery remembered from the pen to the page
Dividing up the chapters, choosing which stories to take
His wandering is not in vain, it walks on leading the way
Though the pages are diminished and the story's far from finished
I know someday I'll find the chapter with the happily ever after

I'm coping, I'm hoping that you'll change your mind
I'm coping, I'm hoping that you'll change your mind
